School Closed Until Nov. 24 Due to COVID-19

November 18, 2020 – UPDATE Due to additional cases of COVID-19 at Thomson Community School, closure of the school will extend to Monday, November 23, 2020. All students will continue to participate in remote learning and may return for in-person classes on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

November 9, 2020 – Today, the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the school division of several cases of COVID-19 in individuals at Thomson Community School. Today, the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the school division of several cases of COVID-19 in individuals at Thomson Community School.

For the safety of students and staff we will be closing the school until November 23rd. Remote learning begins for students on Thursday, November 12th.  PLEASE NOTE: Some classes will return on Nov. 24, 2020.  Please continue to be in communication with your child's teacher for up-to-date information.

The school division has contacted all families about the school closure.

If there are any close contacts at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health. A close contact is someone who has been within two metres (six feet) of someone for a cumulative 15 minutes.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority will contact any school family and staff members who may have been in close contact with the affected individuals.
